MakersPlace x Transient Labs Exhibition at the Sagamore Hotel

In our quest to bridge the worlds of web3 and traditional art, MakersPlace and Transient Labs are teaming up for an exhibition of physical art from artists on either side of the divide.
The artists will take over the lobby at the Sagamore Hotel throughout Miami Art Week with physical artwork with embedded T.R.A.C.E. chips, a new form of technology that will serve as a new standard for provenance, authentication, evolution, and documentation for physical and digital art. (T.R.A.C.E. stands for “Tokenized Records for Artwork Certification and Evolution.”)

WhIsBe Exhibition
Tuesday, December 5
Street artist WhIsBe will open his own exhibition — including a 7-foot-tall Vandal Gummy and a series of custom neon signs by the artist.
About WhIsBe
Contemporary artist WhIsBe has established a formidable reputation in both the renegade world of street art but also the mainstream art world encompassing the museum, gallery, and arena of public installations. His moniker, shorthand for “What is Beauty,” is at once innocuous and sweet and introduces more substantive themes of cultural examination and subversion that underline much of his body of work.
MakersPlace Presents Vincent D’Onofrio & Laurence Fuller
Tuesday, December 5
Also debuting in the lobby of the Sagamore Hotel, on digital screens, will be three new single-edition works of cinematic poetry from actor-artist-poet collaborative duo, Vincent D’Onofrio (Full Metal Jacket, Netflix’s Daredevil) and Laurence Fuller (HBO’s Minx).

SCOPE x PWW3 Speaker Series
Wednesday, December 6, 2:00 to 5:00 PM
Raina Marie and Cocco Dolle, co-founders and curators of PWW3 (Portraits of Women in Web3, will present new works by LoVid and Anne Spalter at SCOPE Miami at Booth C13.
The works will be available for preview and purchase exclusively on MakersPlace beginning on Friday, December 1 at 1:00 PM ET.
On December 6 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM on the main stage at SCOPE Miami, join the PWW3 founders and a lineup of speakers including Swan Sit, Krista Kim, Shannon Snow, Sarah Conley Odenkirk, Carrie Able, Oona, Auronda Scalera, Alfredo Cramerotti, and more. Register to attend here.

WoW x MakersPlace: Miami Art Week

For Art Basel this year, we’re partnering with World of Women to host an event for their community.
Located at The SLS Hotel, the event includes art celebrating MakersPlace ongoing partnership with World of Women, a VIP reception with complimentary cocktails, and a VIP party starting at 6:00 PM ET.

Ordinals Party & Networking Event with Marco Santini

Join the MakersPlace team at the Ordinals Networking Party at The Sagamore Hotel.
Marco Santini is an award-winning NYC-based artist, mentor, and inventor who draws inspiration from inclusion, positivity, and language. The Signature Series is a 22-piece collection that bridges the gap between past, present, and future. Extremely rare and signed art books from the masters of art history have been reimagined as illuminated books that showcase the range of their works. Each book is paired with a single, exclusive, animated NFT that imagines what each artist would be creating if they were alive today.

MakersPlace x Transient Labs Panel Talks

From 2:30 PM to 5:00 PM ET, MakersPlace x Transient Labs will host a series of panel discussions with artists featured in the lobby exhibition at The Sagamore Hotel. The series will be followed by a cocktail hour from 5:00 to 6:00.
