Ryan Hawthorne is an American born multidisciplinary digital artist. Mixing between motion graphics & large scale physical installations Ryan’s portfolio contains a diverse mix of projects including work for the Super Bowl, Coachella and many more. Self taught by the online digital art community Ryan stays true to his roots continually mixing in a growing list of personal series between commercial works. Specializing in 3D he explores futuristic styles and scenes focusing on technology, light and geometric forms.
Simpler Times
Exploring the relationship between past, present & future. Simpler Times is a collection of digital works that takes scans of classic sculptures and condenses them down to their raw geometric form. These abstract polygonal figures from the past are transported through time united under contemporary themes and placed in futuristic environments.
Simpler Times is an ongoing series that spans four and a half years. Works from the series were Hawthorne’s first to mint on the blockchain in January of this year on MP and will also feature the last of his artworks to be minted.
