Francis Ngannou
Francis Ngannou, also known as The Predator, is a Cameroonian-French professional mixed martial artist competing in the Heavyweight division of the Ultimate Fighting Championship. He is known for being the hardest recorded puncher in UFC history and has won 9 of his 12 UFC fights by knockout, with the last four occurring within a total time of two and a half minutes.
Ngannou is a fighter both in and out of the ring: Born and raised in the village of Batié, Cameroon, he lived in poverty with no formal education. At 10 years of age, he worked in a sand quarry in Batié because of a lack of funds. As a youngster, he was approached by various gangs in his village to join them.
However, Ngannou refused and instead decided to use his father’s negative reputation as a street fighter as motivation to do something positive and pursue boxing. It was a lifelong dream to become a world champion; a dream many around him said he was crazy for believing in.
In his early 20’s, Ngannou decided to head to Paris, France, to pursue a professional boxing career. However upon reaching Europe, he was jailed for two months in Spain for illegally crossing the border.
After living homeless on the streets of Paris, he began training for free in August 2013 under Didier Carmont. Being a fan of Mike Tyson, Ngannou was originally interested in learning how to box until his coach introduced him to the sport of MMA. In record time he would make his way to the largest promotion in the sport, the UFC.
After joining the UFC, Ngannou quickly became a fan favorite due to his humble demeanor and other worldly knockout power.
Outside of the cage, Ngannou started the Francis Ngannou Foundation back in his home village to help empower the community and create a structured and safe environment for the children of Batié. On the entertainment side Ngannou is set to make his feature film debut in May of 2021 with the release of the blockbuster film, FAST AND FURIOUS 9.

March to the Throne
“For me it’s going to be my own way of dealing with my childhood, to knock my childhood out. A promise that I made to myself to do something. To do something big, to prove that I am good. I was just a kid with no luck, with no chance to have a decent family. That was the dream, that was the goal, that’s what got me into this. I haven’t got that answer yet and there is no better way to answer that than becoming a world champion.”
– Francis Ngannou
In a historic move, famed artist Bosslogic partners with UFC Heavyweight Francis Ngannou to
create a special event NFT to coincide around a live championship event, UFC 260. With this
drop, Ngannou looks to bring together the art and MMA communities, collaborating with an artist whose presence reverberates within both worlds so strongly.
Join Ngannou as he attempts to make history and look to own a piece of artwork to commemorate his journey while also being the first ever NFT drop to be centered around a live sporting event. With Ngannou’s story of struggle, perseverance and hard work, this drop is meant to help encompass his path towards the heavyweight throne.
In this collection, Bosslogic crafts an art that encapsulates Ngannou’s deep African roots and his presence in the MMA world, as well as highlights Boss’ own innovative and ingenious style.
With the “March to the Throne” collection, Ngannou and Boss have joined forces to create
something truly special; fitting for the first ever NFT drop by a UFC fighter.
10% of the proceeds will be donated to the Francis Ngannou Foundation, aimed at empowering the community in Ngannou’s home village of Batié, Cameroon.
