Advenæ
This creation stands as the completion of my “trying to connect” story. It’s the infinity spinning reflection of life. There are many different moving objects in this artwork, each with its own meaning and purpose. The big ring at the bottom closes over time — symbolizing the connection that is being made over time. Both figures have small rings around the arms and ankles. They represent the shackles that are removed over time, because connecting helps to free oneself. The colors are switching between aggressive red and orange, and calming blue and purple. The counter -clockwise rotating pyramid keeps everything in balance. The rolling torus in the back is a reminder of the constant movement and changes in our lives. And the rotating and always changing spheres are a representation of our thoughts, that are also evolving over time. — Marterium
