Jon Noorlander 🔥
I don’t overthink it when it comes down to creative process. I like to start with a blank canvas and see where that takes me. I’ve ended up with some unique pieces with that process. — Jon Noorlander
Jon Noorlander is a Swedish 3D digital artist based in New York City. He has recently turned his focus to rare digital art after achieving much success in the industry of creative advertising design and direction.
During his 20 plus years in the industry, Noorlander has created immersive digital experiences for huge entities across the board be it tech to movies, music, and even beer. Some of his exciting projects during his advertising days include DoClasse — Thermal Coat 2019, Essie, Adobe Remix, the Apple iPhone X reveal, Apple Watch, Budlight, the ATT/Direct TV NFL commercial, Ford. He’s also responsible for openers and ads for Deadpool 2 and 300 — Rise of an Empire, as well as Major Lazer’s Light it Up Remix (which has reached over 400 million views on Youtube).
Growing up with two artist parents (his mother was a painter and his father was an architect), Noorlander was surrounded by the arts growing up, sparking an early love for art and creativity within Noorlander. As Noorlander ventured out into the world on his own, his surroundings continued to influence his work. Today he finds creative inspiration from the cities he’s lived and worked in which includes London, Los Angeles and currently New York.
